In 1891, a group of citizens decided to dedicate an event in honor of the heroes who gave their lives in the Battle of The Alamo and The Battle of San Jacinto (two battles that defined San Antonio) with a peaceful Battle of Flowers.  The first parade used horse-drawn carriages and decorated bicycles.  To commemorate 125 years of tradition, The Book of FREE is celebrating Fiesta with savings! So, get out your colorful attire, flowers, and Fiesta medals! It’s time to hit the town!

Included in The Book of FREE are thousands in savings on local San Antonio dining and entertainment.  What better way to celebrate our city’s history than to enjoy a free queso vevo appetizer (with the purchase of 1 entree) at Ajuua Mexican Grill.  They’re having their 8th Annual Pre-Fiesta party from 5-11pm today.  Also included in the Book of Free are your choice of 1, 2 or 4 Six Flags Fiesta Texas tickets free with purchase!  Great deals, food and entertainment–now that’s what we call a San Antonio party!  Remember to use code FUN20 for Extra 20% off purchases while supplies last.
